Invitation To Deliver The Mistral On The 14th Of Nov: It Was True!

When Dmitry Rogozine twitted a few days ago the invitation received by Rosoboronexport from DCNS to the Mistral Vladivostok delivery ceremony, some people doubted it was a authentic document.

The french newspaper "Le Nouvel Obs" just revealed that invitations card were printed and sent to french senior officials. One of them would have said that he almost fell on the floor when he received it.

The detailed program is:
  • 6:50 am: Departure from Paris-Montparnasse
  • 10:15 am: Welcoming guests to the STX shipyards
Delivery ceremony of the Mistral Vladivostok to the Russian Federation
    Lunch and concert
  • 2:30 pm: Departure from the Shipyard
  • 3:18 pm: Departure from the Saint-Nazaire train station
  • 6:16 pm: Arrival to the Paris-Montparnasse train station

So, this information was true, the invitation has not be withdrawn by DCNS, the French government has not denied the event and from the last news we received, DCNS/STX were still preparing the ceremony.

We have written to the email address printed on the invitation to ask for more information but doubt we will receive any answer.

Mr François Hollande, what is going on? Your silence is getting heavier and heavier!
